(InterPlaces was active from May 25, 2022 - April 30, 2023. The AR experiences are no longer accessible, but this website serves as project documentation.)
InterPlaces is an Augmented Reality (AR) project through which 10 invited creators interpret different works of public art from the Art Spaces, Inc. collection. Each wonderful sculpture responds to a location in Terre Haute, often addressing history, culture, and/or geography and illuminating a sense of place for all to contemplate and enjoy. Technology can bring us anywhere: through virtual travel, InterPlaces connects Terre Haute's public art to visitors, artists, musicians, writers, architects, and everyone in between from nearby and around the world.
